The Language Doctors, Inc. is looking for skilled Italian-to-English medical translators and editors to support ongoing projects involving handwritten clinical, pharmaceutical, and patient-centered materials. These are long-term, high-volume assignments that make a real impact in the healthcare space.
Whether you're a seasoned freelancer or a language expert with deep medical knowledge, this role offers the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to something meaningful.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately decipher, translate
and edit handwritten Italian medical documents into clear, high-quality English translations.
Ensure consistency in tone, style, and medical terminology across documents.
Collaborate with project managers and QA teams to clarify illegible content and uphold editorial standards.
Apply regulatory and stylistic conventions in line with client specifications and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Italian and English
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in medical translation/editing
Experience working with handwritten medical materials
Strong familiarity with clinical terminology, pharmaceutical content, or patient records
