Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design principles and a passion for creating user-friendly, visually appealing websites. As a Web Designer, you will collaborate with developers and project managers to design and implement engaging web experiences that meet client needs and enhance user satisfaction.

Duties

Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional web designs.
Utilize frameworks such as .NET, Ruby on Rails, or JSP for application development.
Implement database solutions using MySQL or SQL to ensure efficient data management.
Maintain project documentation using tools like Jira to track progress and manage tasks.
Ensure the website is optimized for various devices and browsers to provide a seamless user experience.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve website functionality and aesthetics.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web design.
Experience

Proven experience in web design or a related field with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with MVC architecture.
Experience with application development frameworks such as .NET or Ruby on Rails is preferred.
Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or SQL is advantageous.
Familiarity with project management tools like Jira to facilitate collaboration within teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and collaborate with team members.

Pay: $23.45-$35.00 per hour
