General Helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile General Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist with order fulfillment by picking and packing items accurately.
Perform order picking tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
Operate heavy equipment safely, including cranes, as needed.
Support the fabrication process by preparing materials and tools.
Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently.
Maintain an organized warehouse environment to facilitate smooth operations.
Participate in shipping and receiving processes to ensure accurate inventory management.
Utilize the AS400 system for tracking inventory and processing orders.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with order fulfillment, order picking, and general warehouse operations is a plus.
Ability to operate heavy equipment, including cranes, safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in packaging and shipping tasks.
Basic knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 is advantageous.
Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing work environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.18-$21.31 per hour
