The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

3-7 years of experience in Insurance Defence Litigation, tort and accident benefit files;
Law Clerk diploma/certification from an accredited institution;
Solid understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Primary duties will consist of the following:

Preparation of correspondence, briefs, memos and other legal documents in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure;
Drafting pleadings such as Affidavit of Documents, Motion Records etc.
Compliance with undertakings;
Summarizing medical records, transcripts and compile briefs;
Trial preparation; and
File organization and practice management.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
