Technical Sales Specialist

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Future Fence is a disruptive building materials supplier based in Brisbane. We’re currently Queensland’s highest-rated supplier of aluminium fencing, screening, and gate systems. Our team has grown from 2 to 6 in the past 12 months, and we’re just getting started.

We're now on the hunt for a Technical Sales Specialist to help drive the next phase of growth.

POSITION

As our Technical Sales Specialist you will be responsible for:

Generating and quality-checking technical outbound quotes
Closing inbound and outbound sales (including showroom visits, telephone sales, and booking meetings with prospective trade clients)
Provide technical product advice and support to customers
Overseeing daily operations and troubleshooting issues
Working closely with the Director to develop Future Fence's sales strategy, infrastructure and pipeline.
This is an opportunity to establish yourself as the pillar of our sales department. The successful candidate will launch straight into a high level position with commission upside in a validated and fast growing business.

OTE ~ $100,000 + Superannuation ($75,000 base + on target bonus up to $25,000 paid quarterly)

THE APPLICANT:

Essential: Experience in building material sales OR construction industry (fencing, carpentry, metal work, building design)
Essential: Ability to read building plans and perform material takeoffs.
Essential: Ability to lead a conversation and establish/maintain relationships with trades, designers and builders/developers.
Essential: Ability to lead a small team and problem solve on the spot.
Essential: Comfortable with eCommerce, WMS and CRM technology/software
Essential: Ability to work in office Mon - Fri and for 4 hours most Saturdays .
Favourable: eCommerce sales experience, management skills and a growth mindset.

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
