Job Description:

We are seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic for our shop in south Burnaby. Candidate must have experience in a shop environment. Have knowledge in troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic circuits and general equipment maintenance. Opportunities for advancement for a driven candidate. Previous work on aerial equipment or related is an asset. Benefits. Monday - Friday; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

- Repairs and service to our rental equipment and our customers' equipment
- Onsite service calls
- Thorough with repairs, service, and all paperwork
- Quality control
- Be aware of all safety aspects of the job

Job Requirements:

- Class 5 driver's license
- Basic tools for the job
- Shop/Equipment experience needed

-Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.

-Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

-Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus.

-Basic electrical knowledge related to heavy machinery is advantageous.

-Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.

- Must be reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated, and have integrity
- Lifting and heights involved

$42.00 - $52.00 per hour, subject to experience
