Job Description:

Aakar Intimates Private Limited is seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will work on the design and development of categories including Swimwear, Westernwear, and Beachwear. You will collaborate closely with the design team to bring fresh, innovative ideas to life while maintaining high standards of quality and style.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize, generate, and develop new samples.
• Conduct in-depth research on upcoming fashion trends, materials, and styles for the next season.
• Create detailed sketches, renderings, and technical drawings for new designs.
• Assist in the development of mood boards and presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Support sourcing of materials, trims, and fabrics for prototypes and samples.
• Help create tech packs and specification sheets for new designs.
• Participate in garment fittings and provide constructive feedback on garment fit and construction.
• Maintain organized design archives, sample libraries, and project files.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Perform administrative tasks as necessary to support the design team.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Print Development and its application in fashion design.
Passion for fashion, creativity, and a keen eye for design trends.
• Flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills and techniques.
