Residential framer

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves constructing the framework for buildings and structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. The Framer will work closely with other team members to deliver high-quality results on various projects.

Responsibilities

Construct and install wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for framing tasks.
Perform siding installation as required by project specifications.
Assist in drywall installation as part of the finishing process.
Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation and material handling.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of framing with other construction elements.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter, with a strong understanding of framing techniques.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in construction.
Experience in siding installation is preferred.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week

10 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
