Job Description
Job description
We're working with BEAMA, the UK's leading trade association for manufacturers of energy infrastructure technologies, to hire a Technical Manager for Heating & Ventilation - a pivotal role helping deliver the electrification of heat and the Government's Warm Homes Plan.
In this role, you'll represent the interests of manufacturers supplying heating, hot water, and ventilation products, working with senior industry stakeholders and government to shape standards, regulation, and energy policy.
This is a rare opportunity to influence the future of low-carbon home heating in the UK and ensure homes are safe, efficient, and ready for net zero.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead working groups focused on heating, hot water, and ventilation technologies
• Represent BEAMA in senior stakeholder meetings with government, regulators, and technical bodies
• Shape industry guidance and regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively across BEAMA on product safety, skills, energy efficiency, and smart grid integration
What we're looking for:
• A strong technical understanding of domestic heating and building services
• Experience engaging with government or industry stakeholders on standards and policy
• Excellent communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
• Passion for energy transition and sustainable housing
This is a high-impact, visible role in a respected organisation at the forefront of the UK's clean energy transition.
