Warehouse Assistant

Liquidations Warehouse Canada is a leading distributor of consumer goods and we are currently looking for a Part-Time Warehouse Associate. This is a temporary position that can lead to full time permanent employment with benefits.

Requirements:

Must be a self starter - always finding something to do
Being able to work in a fast paced environment in a team or unsupervised
Being comfortable on your feet all day long sorting goods
Should have knowledge of rebuilding skids
Be able to lift up 50lbs on a regular basis
Clean up the worksite
Assisting others as necessary (other warehouse members, customers etc.)
Communicating all shortages or discrepancies within an order to the Manager
Following all health and safety procedures
Ensuring all aisles are free from obstruction and that all strapping, shrink-wrapping, and empty boxes are cleared at all times
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Completion of a secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to stand, walk and lift 50lbs for most of the day
Punctual, dependable and trustworthy
Warehouse & Forklift experience an asset
This is a part time temporary position starting right away that can lead to permanent full time employment. Must be available Monday to Friday from 7am to 3.30pm. We are located in North East Calgary. Benefits are available after probationary period for full time employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $17.00-$1+.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
