General Labourer

LH North Ltd. is a leading heavy-civil construction company in Northwestern Ontario, specializing in the design and construction of high-quality infrastructure such as bridges, roads, deep foundations, and underground water systems. The company is now accepting applications for General Labourers, with the following qualifications:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform various duties on construction sites, including but not limited to
- Setup and cleanup tasks at job site

- Load and unload materials and equipment

- Safely operate a variety of tools

- Assist with traffic control

Follow verbal instructions to perform tasks and develop skills through on-the-job training
Work cooperatively in a team environment or independently as required
Collaborate with other employees to achieve efficient and safe work environment
Comply with all safety regulations/legislation/company policies and procedures
Qualifications

Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
Comfortable working in varied outdoor weather conditions and willing to work longer hours
Must have 8” CSA approved steel toe work boots (Other required PPE will be provided)
Construction skills/knowledge considered an asset
Valid Working at Heights certification and Standard First Aid training are considered an asset
Surface Miner Common Core certification is considered an asset
We offer:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience (starting at $21.00 per hour)
Schedule

Day shift - Monday to Friday (Remote job sites may operate a 10 days on/4 days off schedule)
Weekend and Overtime as required
