Job description

JP Paving Stones & Landscaping Inc. in Canmore is seeking landscaping construction labourers for the 2026 season. If team-working in a pleasant environment with a gorgeous view sounds interesting to you, apply today to be part of our awesome team.

We have multiple positions available; competitive wage depending on experience.

Class 5 Alberta driver's license and driving experience are required. Experience with operating machinery is a big asset. 1 year of employed construction work and capability to use power tools is required, experience in landscaping construction is preferred.

Come help us make our customers' dream landscaping become a reality. Tasks include heavy lifting, shovelling, wheel barrowing, planting trees and shrubs, building retaining walls, installing paving stones and sod, installing irrigation systems and outdoor lighting, etc.

Multiple spots available.

Weekend and evening work available and appreciated.

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Do you have experience working with power tools (e.g. concrete saw, chain saw, plate temper)?

Do you know the difference between landscaping maintenance (mowing lawn, pruning shrubs,... ) and landscaping construction (install of paving stones, retaining walls, use of machinery, heavy lifting, ...) ?
Are you currently within Canada with a valid work permit (or a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada)?
