Warehouse Operator and Delivery Driver

Lounsbury Furniture in Miramichi is looking for a part-time Warehouse Operator and Delivery Driver.

In this role you will load and unload trucks, assemble and move products within the store and in a customer's home, and prepare orders for delivery.

If you are friendly, polite, and strong then this is the position for you!

Hours of work are:
Mondays: 8am to 12pm
Thursdays: 8am to 12pm
Saturdays: 8am to 5pm
You may be required to work more hours to cover vacation time.

Responsibilities

Picks, packs, and prepares orders in a timely and accurate manner
Assemble and move product within the store and in a customer's home
Housekeeping and cleaning of warehouse area as required
Works as part of a team to provide a great work experience in the warehouse
Local and regional travel is required for deliveries
Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required
This is a Position of Trust, and a Criminal Record Check is required.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driver's abstract
Must have steel-toed safety boots
Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and up to 100lbs with another person
