Job Description
We are looking to hire several crew painters for our team in Lower Mainland.
Prevail Painting is the number one Residential Painters in the Interior BC. We are experts on the application of paint in a variety of surfaces like Stucco, Vinyl, Wood, and many more.
Responsibilities
Perform the daily tasks required to professionally install paint to the standards of Prevail Painting and the client/owner.
Prepare, setup and tear down equipment and machinery for painting, and work from ladders.
Execute tasks given daily by the Production manager, while maintaining a safe workplace and working closely with other painters.
Report to Crew manager and will remain under supervision by both the Crew manager and Production manager.
Assist in minimizing job site issues.
Maintain clean and efficient workspaces (Shop, office, Minivan, job sites, etc.).
Show up to work promptly, with proper work uniform, and prepared to work.
Practice safety within Prevail Painting and Customer guidelines.
Be prepared to learn, always keep an open mind, and remain teachable.
Qualifications
Ability to remain standing for long periods of times.
Must have a passion for high-quality work, hardworking, and loyal.
Ability to travel to warehouse at the beginning of the day
Essential Job Requirements
Ability to lift, carry and/or move 50lbs. frequently.
Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines daily.
Reach, grasp, push & pull with hands and arms in all directions often.
Walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, climb ladders & climb scaffolding, sit and stand for extended periods of time daily, both level and unlevel surfaces.
Drive & Operate Paint sprayer
Talk and hear at normal levels at all times.
See with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus at all times.
