Mechanic Position Available in Canada

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small engine repair, including estimating costs, inspecting and testing engines, and adjusting or replacing parts. The successful applicant will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, advising customers, instructing apprentices, reviewing work orders, and driving to client locations for small repairs.

Key Accountabilities:
• Calculate repair costs and provide estimates
• Conduct detailed inspections and tests of engines and motors
• Use specialized tools to adjust, repair, or replace parts
• Verify that repaired equipment operates correctly
• Regularly maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Inform customers about work completed and equipment status
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Evaluate work orders and consult with supervisors
• Make visits to client locations for minor repairs

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience or equivalent training in small engine or equipment repair
• Valid driver's license
