Canada Small Engine Mechanic Needed

Role Overview:
This is a critical role within our organization, requiring a skilled mechanic to perform various technical tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating repair costs, inspecting and testing engines, and adjusting or replacing parts. Additionally, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining equipment, advising customers, instructing apprentices, reviewing work orders, and driving to client locations for small repairs.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Assess repair costs and create estimates
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and tests of engines and motors
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to adjust, repair, or replace parts
• Confirm that repaired equipment functions properly
• Maintain equipment to ensure peak performance
• Keep customers informed about work completed and equipment condition
• Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
• Examine work orders and discuss with supervisors
• Visit client locations for minor repairs

Core Requirements:
• High school graduation or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience or equivalent training in small engine or equipment repair
• Valid driver's license
