Cashier

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining cash drawer accuracy.
Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed.
Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and reporting low stock levels.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.
Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or cash handling preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers confidently.
Familiarity with technology sales or technical products is a plus.
Ability to perform product demos and explain features effectively to customers.
A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing customer engagement.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
