Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Work Schedule: +:30 AM – 6:30 PM, 6 days a week

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team at a hostel located in the beautiful hill town of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals for guests and staff, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring food quality and hygiene.

This is a live-in position – food and accommodation will be provided by the hosel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals (North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, etc.) as per menu or guest preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Manage kitchen inventory and inform management of stock requirements
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Minimize food wastage and maintain portion control
• Assist in menu planning if required

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a hotel, guesthouse, or restaurant
• Ability to cook vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safetyHonest, disciplined, and able to work independently
• Willing to relocate and stay in the hostel premises
