Responsibilities:

Design and present lesson plans using a variety of teaching techniques that appeal to various learning styles
and methods
Plan and conduct lessons of instruction that provides critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Use a variety of assessment practices to determine student understanding of curricular outcomes

Qualifications:
Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with students and parents/guardians
Demonstrate experience and understanding of the 5-6 curriculum
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of personal computers and related software applications
Experience working with students with additional academic and behavioural needs
As a condition of employment, all new hires must complete a satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable
sector search, and child abuse registry check as part of the hiring process.
