Field Service Technician

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Service Technician for our Core Cutting Machines division, based in Vadodara. The ideal candidate should have strong service and troubleshooting skills with good mechanical skills, a basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. The role involves machine assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, attending customer service calls, and on-site visits. Candidates must be ready to travel as required and committed to delivering high-quality service support to our customers. Prior experience in industrial machinery servicing will be a strong advantage.

Required Skills and Criteria:
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to independently handle machine mechanical overhauling and servicing work.
• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Willingness to attend customer service calls and make onsite visits as required.
• Ability to diagnose issues systematically and think logically to resolve breakdowns.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards understanding machine operations.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Familiarity with tools and instruments commonly used for machine servicing (e.g., multimeters, torque wrenches, etc.).
• Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to document service work properly and report back to the service manager.
• Ready to travel within and outside the region as needed for service support.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to resolving customer issues.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and online communication.
• Prior experience in servicing industrial machinery (preferably sheet metal or cutting machines) will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
