Fashion Design Internship - Hand Embroidery Specialization

We are offering an exciting internship opportunity in the luxury hand embroidery industry. This position provides hands-on experience in a creative environment where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary fashion.

This internship focuses on developing skills in fashion design, specifically hand embroidery techniques. You will assist the design team with research for seasonal inspiration and trend forecasting, as well as support the creation of mood boards, color stories, and concept development.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the design library and archives of embroidery samples
• Support client presentations and sample collections
• Shadow client meetings to understand the collaborative design process
• Learn about fabric selection and properties suitable for hand embroidery
• Observe and document various hand embroidery techniques
Requirements:
• Pursuing a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field
• Strong interest in hand embroidery and artisanal craftsmanship
• Basic knowledge of design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Good sketching abilities and keen eye for detail
• Understanding of color theory and textile basics
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Professional communication skills
• Portfolio demonstrating creativity and interest in embellishment/textiles
