Are you a people person with a passion for organisation, service, and making a difference in your local community?
At Karratha Eyecare, we’re seeking a reliable and confident Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team Monday to Friday, +am–5pm. This is a full-time, permanent role in a growing and progressive practice dedicated to delivering high-quality eyecare in the Pilbara.
About the Role:
As the welcoming face of our clinic, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients both in person and over the phone. Your role is vital to ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for every patient.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and assisting patients with warmth and professionalism
Coordinating appointments and managing patient flow
Maintaining patient records and handling Medicare billing
Communicating with patients, practitioners, and healthcare partners
Supporting the clinical team with administrative and operational tasks
Ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and a calm, welcoming environment
What We’re Looking For:
We’re after someone who is organised, personable, and passionate about delivering great service. While medical or optical experience is a plus, we’re open to training the right candidate who brings the right attitude and drive.
Ideal attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident with multitasking and using computer systems (experience with clinical software is desirable)
Friendly and approachable with a strong customer focus
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Committed to confidentiality, professionalism, and ongoing learning
