Job Description

Arts Queensland is looking for a permanent full-time AO8 Senior Strategy Manager to work with us.

Please refer to attached PD for full list of required key duties/tasks:

Lead and manage a team of Strategy Managers to deliver corporate reporting, reviews and evaluation, program design and strategy management for AQ programs and initiatives
Manage the development and delivery of Government programs and initiatives including cultural tourism and screen strategies
in partnership with the sector and other departments to benefit the sector and deliver on Queensland Government priorities
Lead the effective collation, analysis and communication of data to inform business improvement for AQ and business development for the arts, cultural and creative sector
Coordinate and contribute to the development of cross agency and government initiatives, including policy and funding frameworks and sector focussed projects
Manage internal and external engagement processes with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies, programs and initiatives that work to grow the sustainability of Queensland's arts, cultural and creative sector.

This position has HR and Financial Delegations and has four direct reports.

Additional Information:

Salary: $142,761 - $150,874 p.a. + 12.75% super

Please note a 3-month probationary period may apply to new employees of Arts Queensland in accordance with section 315 of the Industrial Relations Act 2016
