NSB Omega is searching for a Software Developer four our MAJOR Utilities Client in St. John's, NL.

Assignment Description

The Software Developer's responsibilities will include:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using the .NET framework.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in languages like C#, HTML and VB.NET.
Design and build interactive web applications using Microsoft Blazor.
Design and develop custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft services like Power Automate and SharePoint.
Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with other software developers and stakeholders
Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications.
Manage the deployment of applications and updates.
Other duties as required
The consulting services may be carried out via remote work or on-site at the Hydro Place office, St. John’s, Newfoundland. The consultant must be available to attend in-person meetings as required


The Consultant should have the following qualifications and experience:

Proficiency in .NET.
Strong understanding of C# and VB.NET.
Expertise in Microsoft Blazor
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development
Ability to design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps.
Experience with integrating Power Apps with other Microsoft services like Power Automate and SharePoint
Proficiency in SQL Server.
Ability to design and manage database schemas.
Experience with Microsoft Azure for deploying, managing, and scaling applications.
Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems for code management.
