Job description
Job Profile –

Textile Designer
• Digitally create textile patterns, prints and motifs. These designs will serve as the foundation for creation of fabrics, prints and other textile related materials.
• Producing initial sketches on the computer using CADCAM software
• Discussing with other colleagues, especially textile operatives regarding the feasibility and practicality of designs
• Presenting new design concepts, and fabric qualities
• Creating multiple colour ways for all textile prints
• Liaising with the internal product development team and suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that the products are printed and manufactured correctly
• Performing graphic design duties on Brochures ad Catalogues
• Organise and maintain design files and archives systematically to ensure easy retrieval and access for future reference Required Qualification –

· Diploma or Degree in Textile Designing

Textile designing using Cadcam for Jacquard, Embroidery and Print

· 5 -6 years’ experience in designing

· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and CorelDraw for digital design creation and editing

· Knowledge of fabric types, weaves and printing techniques

· A passion for textiles, fashion and design trends
