Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Radiopharmacy, the incumbent is responsible for the effective and efficient provision of Secretarial support to the Director, the Technical Coordinator and the Radiopharmacy Department.

Experience
Two years related experience required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
Not applicable

Qualifications and Skills
Typing 50 wpm required.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) required.
Medical Terminology (pass mark 75%) preferred.
Data entry, Bookkeeping and Basic Accounting skills preferred.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and English communication skills, both oral and written required.
Excellent customer service and Inventory Control skills required.
Physical Requirements
Incumbent is required to wear a Radiation Dosimeter Badge.
Work involves multi-tasking and frequent communication and interaction with client departments.
