This role is responsible for leading a team of associates in a warehouse setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving up the sortation and line haul infrastructure, identifying new routes, and analyzing data reports to improve performance.
Daily Management of Shift
The Lead Operator will be responsible for managing daily operations, including administrative tasks, job allocation, and monitoring productivity, quality, and safety. They will also be responsible for preparing and implementing training plans, conducting audits, and standing in for the Area Manager as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Administrative management of associates
• Job allocation to associates
• Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality, and safety
• Preparation and implementation of training plans
• Conducting 4M and 5S audits
• Implementing process control and improvement mechanisms
