Job Summary

This is maternity leave 1 year temporary role responsible for managing Construction Accounting and Financial processes and systems of the organization. This includes maintaining and implementing construction accounting/financial systems and guidelines, but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, payroll, filing organization and invoice management.

Accounting Systems: implementing construction accounting processes and systems that fits with our organization model
Payroll: manage payroll time from time sheets
Taxes: maintaining documentation for corporate taxes for CRA requirements based on our accounting structure
Payables/Receivables: Coordinate and review all invoicing and manage accounting receivables and payables
Financial Systems: manage cashflow
May perform other related duties as assigned
Prepare cash flow and income forecasts on job specific and overall divisional basis
Recommend and implement new financial systems, controls and processes in collaboration with Construction and Finance teams
Analyze construction budgets, forecasts and performance and communicate findings to key stakeholders
Oversee all aspects of job reporting, including costs, schedule, quality and safety
Manage construction billings and collections
Prepare quarterly dashboard, reporting on key departmental objectives. Present results and findings to senior management
Support quarterly reporting and year-end audit, including preparation of certain working papers, analysis and other support as required
Review construction financial statements, identifying and explaining variances
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $41,786.00-$7+,200.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
