Junior Accountant

Overview

Duties

Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation
Support in the preparation of financial statements
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
Work on clerical tasks related to accounting procedures
Collaborate with senior accountants on various projects
Gain exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance
Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Familiarity with financial statement preparation
Basic understanding of corporate finance principles
Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well in a team environment
Nice-to-have skills: Mentoring experience, SOX knowledge
