Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Accountant to join our growing team in the Richmond office.

Responsibilities

Perform bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, invoicing, accounts payable, and payroll processing
Assist in compiling financial statements and management reports
Prepare and file tax returns (T1, T2, GST/HST, T4)
Review CRA notices and prepare response
Support the preparation of business plans and financial forecasts
Maintain organized client files and manage scheduling
Professionally manage and handle communication with clients
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely task execution
Provide general administrative support as needed
Requirements

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Enrolment in the CPA program is an asset
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is an asset
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
High level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism
