Our client is a well established, metal fabrication company (14 years, 150 employees) seeking a Financial Controller to manage all financial activities and contribute to success in the custom metal fabrication and installation industry.

POSITION - Financial Controller

Location - Brampton , ON (On Site)

Industry - Steel / Metal

Compensation - $120,000 - $150,000 CAD annually.

Position Overview

Reporting to the President, candidate will oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting and providing strategic guidance, particularly

in project costing within metal fabrication for general contractors.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Implement financial controls and procedures.
Prepare financial statements and variance analysis.
Analyze key financial metrics and manage cash flow.
Oversee tax compliance.
Collaborate on project costing for metal fabrication projects.
Apply in-depth knowledge of the construction industry to financial tasks.
Qualifications

CPA preferred
3-4 years progressive finance experience in the steel and/or metal industries.
Strong understanding of custom metal fabrication and installation for construction industry finance and project costing.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in accounting softwares and MS Excel.
