Dispatch Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation logistics, ensuring timely delivery of freight, and maintaining effective communication between drivers, clients, and the operations team. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule shipments by analyzing freight requirements and available resources.
Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to track shipments and manage logistics efficiently.
Communicate effectively with drivers to provide updates on routes, schedules, and any changes that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, including data entry into AS400 systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the transportation process.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize supply chain operations.
Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while providing exceptional customer service.
Skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
Familiarity with supply chain management principles and freight operations is preferred.
Ability to type efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
