Job description

Pharmacie J Chen is looking for a cashier and clerk to join our team in Mont-Royal, QC. We are a small pharmacy that provides pharmaceutical care to our community. We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and compassionate individual who values professionalism and cares for our customers.

The cashier and clerk will assist the running of the pharmacy by helping in daily operations of the pharmacy by receiving and checking the orders, organizing the products for sale, reordering what is sold, keeping the store tidy and clean, showcasing products, helping customers find what they need and bringing out stock from the stockroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and product management, will be able to work independently with little supervision, and will be passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacist with the preparation of new prescriptions

Stock and maintain the inventory of all products in the front shop in accordance with pharmacy policies
Ensure that products are available to customers when they arrive at the pharmacy
Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the pharmacy
Communicate effectively with customers and other staff members
Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the company’s policies
Follow all applicable health and safety regulations pertaining to work activities
Keep updated records of customer interactions, customer information, transactions, feedback, etc.
Participate in training programs provided by our insurance companies or by other organizations
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.10-$1+.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
