Cashier/Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Clerk to join our team. Communication skills is important. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a passion for delivering a positive shopping experience. Must be available nights and have transportation as store is open untill 2am on the weekends

Duties

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide product recommendations.
Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in-person with professionalism and courtesy.
Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves as needed.
Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and change giving.
Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Communication
Strong time management skills to effectively handle busy periods.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
