Resort Cleaner & Landscaping

are seeking a hardworking and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our team at Long Beach Resort. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and functionality of our resort grounds. This role is physically demanding and requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude in all weather conditions. You’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming outdoor environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, beach raking with tractors, trimming trees and hedges, weeding, planting, and mulching.
Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Assist with seasonal duties such as spring/fall clean-ups and snow removal if needed.
Follow landscaping plans and instructions from supervisors to ensure a polished, professional appearance of all outdoor areas.
Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces to identify safety hazards or areas needing attention.
Handle basic maintenance tasks related to irrigation systems, pathways, or outdoor fixtures.
Support occasional heavy lifting or manual labor related to groundskeeping or resort improvement projects.
Communicate respectfully and effectively with guests, staff, and team members to ensure excellent service.
Experience

Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labour preferred.
Familiarity with lawn care equipment and safety protocols is an asset.
Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently and independently.
Physically capable of performing heavy lifting, kneeling, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
