Relief Teacher 2026

The position of Temporary Relief Teacher is a casual position and people are called on a short term basis to cover permanent teaching staff who are away from their class.

Temporary Relief Teacher positions are available in the Pre-School, Junior School (Reception - Year 6), the Middle School (Years 7 - 10) and the Senior School (Years 11 - 12).

Applicants for these positions must be registered to teach in South Australia and be available at short notice.

This role suits people who are able to quickly establish a positive rapport with students, have good student and classroom management skills and are flexible and are able to quickly adapt to changing circumstances.

The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and background checks, including working with children checks. Commitment and adherence to the Trinity College Privacy Policy is required.
