Job Description
Position Available: Motor Mechanic
Number of Positions Available: 1
Location: Auckland Region
Payrate: $30 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Maximum Hours of Work Per Week: 35
Key Requirements:
At least 2 years or more of relevant experience.
or
At least Level 4 or above relevant qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
Conduct routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and cooling systems.
Maintain accurate service records and update customer logs and work orders.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and company policies.
Liaise with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and costs.
Order and manage spare parts and maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Supervise apprentices or junior staff if required.
Stay up to date with advancements in automotive technologies.
