Full job description
We are looking for an experienced person to lead our bar.

The Rustic Kitchen a vibrant, busy ‘Streetary’ which hosts fun family festivals throughout the year. We serve good quality street food and beverages, local produce and seasonal treats.

Average of 45/50 hours per week. These hours are seasonal with more hours in the summer & less in the winter.

Salary £30K

Closed on a Monday & Tuesday, excluding bank holidays.

Summary:

As a vital member of Team Rustic, you’ll be relied upon to ensure the smooth running of the bar and cellar. You will need to be provide great customer service to our customers, as well remain level-headed in a fast-paced environment and use quieter times wisely.

We are looking for a good leader for our other staff. Good management skills and enthusiasm to help us grow the business.

Responsibilities:

- Managing all bar staff.

- Monitor inventory of wet stock closely to make sure sufficient supply is maintained and placing weekly orders if necessary.

- Weekly cleaning and constant monitoring to ensure proper functioning of beer lines and cellar.

- Organising and maintaining the bar, cellar and store sheds to keep an accessible and safe environment for staff.

- Oversee cleanliness of staff and bar area paying special attention to possible health hazards.

- Handle customer complaints promptly and according to our guidelines.

- Work closely with other managers.

Qualifications and experience needed:

- Minimum of 2 years bar experience.

- Have experience of line cleaning and deliveries.

- Would prefer applicants with cellar and personal licence qualifications but not essential.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
