The opportunity for a full time mechanic/fitter is available at a fast growing independent business based in Tyseley, Birmingham.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience. Paid weekly.

Paul McGowan Grab hire are specialist in Grabs, Tippers, Sweepers and heavy haulage.

- Working on our fleet of 32 tonne Grabs, Tippers and Sweepers.

- Ensure that all servicing and maintenance of the fleet is carried out to DVSA standards while ensuring health and safety is not compromised.

Main duties will include:

- Carrying out repairs and diagnostics on vehicles.

- Carrying out service. 6 weekly inspections and MOT preparation.

- Attending breakdowns.

- To fully comply with Health and Safety legislation.

- To communicate effectively with management and colleagues.

- Processing vehicle defect sheets and completing all necessary paperwork in line with company and DVSA standards.

- HGV 2 license preferred

- NVQ level 3 preferred
