Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher

Job Overview:

Japango is looking for a Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for washing dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen staff as needed.

Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using a dishwasher or by hand.
Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Properly dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste.
Assist kitchen staff by restocking clean dishes and utensils.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a sanitary work environment.
Handle dishwashing chemicals and equipment safely.
Perform additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Requirements:

Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred.
Ability to communicate in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to commute/relocate: Must be able to commute to 122 Elizabeth Street, Toronto, ON M5G 1P5, Canada.
Schedule:

Tuesday: 5:00 PM - +:00 PM
Friday: 5:00 PM - +:00 PM
Saturday: 5:00 PM - +:00 PM
