Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health care to adolescents and adults, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. This role requires a strong communication and client care. The Psychotherapist will also engage in research and data collection to enhance treatment outcomes and contribute to the overall improvement in the mental health of clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.
Provide psychotherapy/counseling sessions for youths and adults, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Participate in case management activities, including coordinating care with external providers and community resources.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in pediatric mental health.
Skills
Strong background in patient care, particularly great communication skills.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health.
Proficient in data collection methods.
Familiarity with special education needs and case management processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with , clients and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a compassionate approach towards patients.
This role is essential in providing quality mental health services to our community's youth and adults. making it imperative that candidates possess both the necessary skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Education:
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
Working in the filed mental heath: 2 years (required)
Language:
English (required)
