Senior Fashion Designer Role

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Senior Fashion Designer to lead our studio.
Main Responsibilities:
• Design Luxury Silhouettes: Create luxury silhouettes with innovative drapes and construction techniques.
• Embroidery Layouts: Conceptualize embroidery layouts and oversee development from swatches to final garments, ensuring alignment with the brand's aesthetic and modern trends.
• Collaboration and Execution: Collaborate with in-house karigars and vendors for embroidery sampling and execution, leveraging expertise in embroidery techniques, embellishment placement, and fabric manipulation.
• Style Development: Create detailed sketches, specs, and style sheets for sampling and production, effectively guiding patternmakers and tailors through the development and fitting process.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks at each stage of sampling, guaranteeing exceptional quality.
Detailed Requirements:
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in luxury, couture, or designer fashion.
• Embroidery Expertise: Strong expertise in embroidery techniques, embellishment placement, and fabric manipulation.
• Sampling Process: Experience managing the end-to-end sampling process, from conceptualization to production.
• Garment Construction: Skilled in draping, garment construction, and fit correction, with excellent communication skills when working with karigars and technical teams.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and hand sketching, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
