Job Description
Full Blast Creative is a full service marketing agency based in Calgary, Alberta. The agency is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Coordinator to join our team. This role will be central to managing the day-to-day financial administration of the business, ensuring smooth operation of invoicing, payroll, bookkeeping, and time tracking. You’ll play a key part in keeping our financial systems accurate and up to date, supporting both internal team members and external client billing.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
Categorize and reconcile transactions, bank accounts, and credit cards
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly financial reports (e.g., profit and loss, balance sheet)
Support year-end accounting processes and liaise with external accountants
Generate and send client invoices based on project milestones or timesheets
Track and record payments received
Maintain accurate A/R aging reports
Follow up on overdue accounts with tact and professionalism
Process payroll in compliance with CRA regulations
Maintain payroll records, track vacation and sick leave
Prepare T4s, ROEs, and other required documentation
Manage payroll deductions, benefits, and remittances
Monitor weekly timesheet submissions from staff
Review and verify accuracy of time entries
Support time tracking processes and resolve inconsistencies
Ensure accurate data for payroll and billing
Prepare and submit GST/HST filings
Ensure ongoing compliance with provincial and federal requirements
Maintain organized documentation for audit readiness
Process employee expense reports and reimbursements
Track business credit card expenditures
Assist with the setup and maintenance of financial systems and procedures
This is a full-time, fully remote position.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or financial coordination
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and time tracking tools (e.g., Harvest)
Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and tax compliance
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $5+,336.00-$62,+74.00 per year
