Industrial Bus Driver - Work Starts Immediately

Prairie Bus Lines is currently seeking experienced and safety-minded Industrial Bus Drivers to join our operations team in Red Deer. Drivers will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between Red Deer to areas just outside of Blackfalds.

As an Industrial Bus Driver, you will work an 8-hour split shift, driving 4 hours in the early morning and 4 hours in the early evening (4:30 am - 8:30 am / 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm). This is a temporary full-time role with the opportunity to stay on the casual list following the completion of this job as new projects come up frequently.

Qualifications:

Valid Class 1 or 2 license with S endorsement; S endorsement training will be provided to those who do not hold an S
Minimum 5 years’ commercial driving experience required
Previous industrial experience preferred
Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
Clear criminal record
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
Mechanical aptitude is advantageous
Willingness to work split shifts with an early (4:30 am) start time
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour
