Seasonal Security Guard

We currently have an opportunity for a Seasonal Security Guard in Saint John.

Qualifications:

Be at least 1+ years of age, as per licensing requirements
Be able to work in different conditions: Day and Night
Possess office administrative skills
Be able to pass provincial and federal security background checks
Be able to work with minimal supervision
Have excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Have a clean criminal record
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Skills
Standing for long periods of time
Scanning the area for potential threats and hazards
Observe and report suspicious behavior
Demonstrate judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge in emergencies or other incidents
Writing notes daily
Writing reports as needed
Maintaining a detailed and accurate sign in log
Monitoring Port of Saint John security camera system
Access control
Liaising with clients and stakeholders
Greeting clients and staff as they enter the building
Be able to stand for long periods at a time
Data Entry
Able to work at various locations in PEI.

Pay: $16.57-$17.85 per hour
