Security Guard

Job Summary
NorGuard Security Services of Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK. is presently recruiting security guards and supervisor. This position requires individuals to work a rotational schedule.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at a mine site;
Provide security and safety measures for property assets and site personnel;
Control site access and adhere to the admittance process;
Enforce site policies and regulations;
Prepare logs and reports as required;
Patrol the mine site as required on foot and in a vehicle;
Must be willing to work flexible hours at a remote site location, which includes a rotational shift of 2 week-in and 2 week-out and open to longer shifts when required;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Recognized Saskatchewan Security Guard Training;
Valid Standard First Aid/CPR/AED or willing to attain;
Must be willing and able to work in a team;
Must be willing to submit to an alcohol and drug screening;
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal;
Ability to handle confidential information;
Must have a valid driver’s license;
ROC-A— Air radio operators license would be an asset;
Criminal Record Check will be required;
Excellent attention to detail and punctuality.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 84 per week
