Job Description: - MEP ENGINEER

The purpose of this position is to gain an in-depth understanding of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The value you will deliver will be summarized in client reports or databases of observed MEP equipment condition in Warehousing, Logistic and Cold Chain industry.

Our projects revolve around delivering considered data to demanding clients in a timely manner. Project management responsibilities will include self-scheduling, coordinating, and executing site to confirm site observations, and finally reporting to communicate findings. Each team member is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously (ideally 2-3 at a time) and communicate proactively with leadership if delivery timeline is in jeopardy.

The successful candidate will be personable, a very strong communicator and team player. Additionally, they will have a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor to help them navigate the challenges surrounding a project while keeping morale high.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Assist and coordinate with designers and engineers

· Check drawings for dimension and other technical correctness.

· Thoroughly know 2D & 3D Modelling. Reviewing information for completeness and accuracy

· In electrical layouts, divides circuits, cable calculations and prepare SLD for it.

· Prepare BOQs for CCTV, Networking, PA, FAS, IDS, ACS, Biometric.

· Design of fire protection systems and plumbing for industrial, commercial buildings.

· Preparation of Fire Fighting and Plumbing BOQs.

· Preparing P&I Ds (Piping and instrumentation diagram) for utilities

· Design development of Warehousing, Logistic and Cold Chain industry layouts based on client inputs.

· Design layouts of Warehousing, Logistic and Cold Chain industry & plan complete Electrical, Security & Surveillance, Networking, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Detection, Fire Extinguisher, EPBAX etc.

· Design of Dust collection and fume extraction system layouts based on requirements.

· Design development of HVAC layouts

Qualification & Experience

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· The candidate should be a Diploma - Mechanical, worked as Draughtsman with Minimum 2 years of experience and above experience, and should have knowledge on Design & drafting of PHE layouts, Fire Protection systems, HVAC, Fabrication layout

· Minimum 2 years of experience – preferably focused on commercial building evaluation or commercial design experience with a general understanding of MEP building systems.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational and analytical skills.

· Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients.

· Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

· Ability to adaptively solve problems in high-pressure situations. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills.

· Proficiency in using computer and smart phone programs which may include PDF programs, document upload/download websites, municipal agency record request websites, data collection applications and other virtual meeting programs (Zoom, Chime, Teams, Skype, etc.)

· Excellent time management and organizational skills. The position requires simultaneously managing electronic deliverables for several ongoing assignments and operating effectively while remote.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
