8:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday to Friday), Alternate Saturdays working

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Extended Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing and educating children in the 1.5-6 years age group, focusing on their cognitive, emotional, and social development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a deep passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in line with our experiential and play-based curriculum.
Foster creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking in children through thematic activities and structured learning experiences.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
Guide children’s behaviour positively, encouraging good manners, cooperation, and teamwork.
Child Development:
Observe and assess children’s developmental progress, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
Encourage the development of motor skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
Parent Interaction:
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their childs progress, behaviour, and overall development.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss milestones and areas of improvement.
Health and Safety:
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children during indoor and outdoor activities.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with co-teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and school events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching in a preschool setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
