Job Description:
Tax - Associate
What will you do:

Ensure timely deposit and return filing of TDS as per applicable laws.
Perform regular reconciliation of books of accounts with statutory records.
Utilise SAP (basic level) for data extraction, voucher checking, and entry validation.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice mismatches and TDS discrepancies.
Preparation of TDS returns (26Q, 27Q) and related compliance documentation.
Maintain accurate documentation for TDS assessments, audits, and internal reviews.
Collate and provide the required details to various Income tax authorities
Maintain a tracker of the ongoing TDS litigation and ensure the requisite compliance of each of them.
Overview of the routine compliance of payment and return filing of TDS, Equalisation Levy.
Support the team in managing other routine direct tax compliances and reporting requirements.
Relevant working experience in large organisation of minimum 3-4 years (preferably from E-Commerce)

Mandatory Skills:

Good understanding of TDS provisions, rates etc. and basic understanding of documentation required for foreign vendor payments
Excellent understanding amd working experience of TDS portal (for uploading of returns, correction statements, download of various reports, certificates etc.)
