We have onboarded 400+ teachers to date & our group classes consistently demonstrate strong learning outcomes for students. In 2026, enguru was acquired by US-based Open English, the leading English learning platform in Latin America & Europe. With Open English’s support, we will increase our teacher & student base, expand our curriculum & further improve our content. With an immediate focus on India, enguru will also expand to South-East Asia over the next few years. Enguru is entering a high growth phase with backing from an established player in the market & we are looking for ambitious, self-motivated individuals to join the team! About the Role The Teacher plays a key role in enguru’s mission to provide high-quality yet affordable English language education through our Android and web-based apps along with in-person training. The aim behind this, for our users, is increased employability through improved English communication skills. Role profile: Key duties include, but are not limited to: • Delivering coherent CLT-based lessons in line with our teaching standards. Qualifications: • Essential: • Undergraduate degree • CELTA/Trinity Cert.TESOL or relevant degree in ELT • Desired: • IELTS Masterclass or an equivalent qualification Skill and IT requirements: • Essential • Comfortable with technology – adept at using Zoom, G Suite apps, and MS Office, and especially willing to learn new things • Great team players – collaborative and patient • Willing to take the lead, and expert at inculcating best practices • Creative – able to envision new solutions to our users’ problems • Flexible – willing to change processes and see things in new ways • Experienced communicative-stye language teachers • Desired: • Academic experience with schools/other institutions • B2B project management experience Language Requirement: • Proficiency in the English language i.e. CEFR C1/C2 in the IELTS exam
